About the Instructor

Quenia Ribeiro

With over 25 years of experience, Quenia Ribeiro is a distinguished dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor dedicated to enriching the artistic and cultural education of urban youth in New York City and Brazil through Brazilian dance and music.

She has performed Samba and Afro-Brazilian Dance internationally, captivating audiences in Greece, Canada, Martinique, Portugal, Brazil, and throughout the United States. Her work has been showcased on major television networks, including PBS, ABC, WPIX, Telemundo, and CBS. Quenia is the Founder and Director of Grupo Ribeiro Dance Company, where she continues to inspire and lead in the world of dance.
