Kettlebell Strength & Skills

Join our Kettlebell Strength & Skills class to master the basics of kettlebell training safely and effectively. This class focuses on teaching the foundational skills of swings, cleans, presses, snatches, and get-ups.

Kettlebells offer a unique way to train strength and cardiovascular endurance simultaneously. Their off-center weight distribution allows for greater ranges of motion and enables ballistic and power moves, making them a versatile tool for total body fitness.

Mobility & Foam Rolling

Whether you're looking to establish a greater range of motion in your joints and muscles or looking to control existing hyper-mobility, this class is for you! It serves as a crucial foundation and companion to strength building, aerobic practices like running/cycling/swimming as well as martial arts, performance and dance.  

In daily life, sports and movement, we depend on the interdependence of each joint in compound movements. This class focuses on establishing independence of each joint before progressing to interdependence.

During the class we'll explore and enhance breathing techniques, learn effective warm-up and cool-down methods, address tightness in soft tissues and reprogram autopilot patterns.

Pilates Mat

Meet your powerhouse! In Pilates mat, we use functional movements and breath work to build strength, stability and mobility in the powerhouse or "hub" of your body: the abdominals, the back muscles, the pelvic floor, the glutes and the muscles in and around the hips.

Our goal is to help you move through daily life and the activities you enjoy (whether that's walking, running, dance, CrossFit, gardening or anything else) with ease, comfort and your most supportive posture. We'll also build our mind-body connection and practice mindfulness, control and precision.

We like to think of a Pilates mat session as a whole-body tune-up, helping your body feel its best so you can tackle all the other things that are important to you. This class is primarily taught at a beginner and intermediate level, with lots of options offered.

Note: Some movements may not be ideal if you are pregnant or newly postpartum, but modifications can be provided for these special situations on request.

Power Flow - Vinyasa Yoga

Through Linklater voice work, a somatic method like Alexander & Feldenkrais, you’ll engage in a researched progression of exercises designed to support vocal health. Learn to free your breath, develop resonance, and release tension in the throat, jaw, and tongue that can inhibit expression. This class will help you connect to the whole-body experience of sound, allowing your voice to move freely through your body and into the world.  Ground, energize, and resource yourself through experimentation with sound, impulse, energy, and language. In a low-stakes, curiosity-driven environment, explore the complexity of everyday speech.
