In this 3-hour workshop, students will focus on mastering the unique sounds of Brazilian Portuguese to improve pronunciation, singing and boost speaking confidence.

This intro session will break down phonetic patterns, vowel sounds, and nasalization that are essential for clear, authentic Portuguese communication. Through interactive exercises and listening practices, participants will learn how to naturally apply these sounds in their daily speech and singing.

In addition to pronunciation, students will engage in real-life conversation scenarios where they can put their new skills to use immediately. Whether ordering at a café, navigating a market, or introducing themselves in social situations, practical activities will provide hands-on experience, helping students feel more confident when speaking Portuguese.

About the Instructor

Cris Vieira

Cristhiane Vieira-Rozenblit, also known as Cris Vieira, is the founder of Brazil Ahead and American Ways and Language, two schools dedicated to language training for foreigners and Brazilians.

In addition to her entrepreneurial ventures, Cris serves as a Portuguese trainer for U.S. government agencies and acts as a cross-cultural consultant for expatriates, bridging linguistic and cultural gaps in professional settings.

With nearly 150k followers on social media, Cris shares her expertise in language learning and pronunciation, while her “The English Click” method has transformed the lives of over 5,000 students worldwide. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Cris has worked with thousands of students and notable public figures, helping them refine their pronunciation and communication skills. Her academic background in American and British Literature from UERJ, coupled with a master’s degree in Advertising and Marketing from FIT, has solidified her status as a language expert.
